I always drive alone and eat in my vehicle. The food burned my leather seats before and that is now a thing of the past. On the rare occasion I have a passenger the quick release is wonderful. Highly recommend the Stupid Car Tray!

Bought the additional no slip mat to go on it. This does the job, keeps everything in place and reduces the amount of stuff that slides to the other side of the car and between the door in the seat.

I bought them for my kids and boyfriend. Everyone loved them! Some use it for food, so to transport baked goods safely, and some for laptops. They work well for each purpose!
